Your experienced tutor will demonstrate and then offer one to one advice with discussion so that you can successfully complete each arrangement. Some group tasks and discussion.
Outcomes
Create simple floristry designs with an understanding of their commercial timing and costs. An introduction into theory of good floral design.
Materials required
You will need to source your own flowers and foliage each week (your tutor will advise weekly for the following week). Your tutor will have certain plant materials available at a reasonable cost. A starter pack of basic equipment (pots, floral foam, tape etc) is available from the tutor for £15.50. Please order week one. Floristry scissors can also be ordered at £8.50 each. For week one please bring strong scissors, bin bag, pen and paper in an A4 folder.
Homework required
A small amount of planning at home and sourcing flowers for the next week. Online research for optional extra information on a topic.
