You will be working on a local landscape subject including water and buildings.
Art: Watercolour - Pen and Wash
No formal qualifications are necessary, only a desire to be creative and a willingness to learn techniques to improve your drawing. If you enjoyed art at school, or have always wanted to 'have a go' at watercolour painting, then this Workshop is for you.
The class will usually include a short tutor demonstration and a chance to ask questions but is mostly practical. During the class there will be plenty of opportunity for one-to-one assistance. Towards the end of the session there will be time for everyone to come together and discuss what has been achieved and to compare drawings and paintings, if you wish.
By the end of the course, learners will have increased confidence and ability in painting by plenty of hands on experience and will have improved their techniques.
You will need to bring a small amount of watercolour equipment for this class such as pens, paper, paint, brush(es) and sundries. A comprehensive list of equipment will be supplied. Please bring a packed lunch. Tea and coffee are provided free of charge but in order to avoid waste we are asking learners to bring their own re-usable coffee cups if possible.
At the start of the course you will be given your own individual learning plan. Your tutor will record your entry level and together you will track your progress and achievements.
We will support learners to make informed choices about their next steps by providing appropriate individual and/or group information, advice, and/or guidance tailored to need and desired outcomes. Further courses here could include Watercolour Painting or Botanical Art. Check out all our courses at www.aclearning.org.uk
