Course Worry Less

Do you find yourself over-stressed, anxious and weighed down by the uncertainty of life? This workshop will aim to provide an understanding of why worry happens and offers some practical strategies for managing worry and anxiety.

The course will include how to face anxiety-provoking situations with confidence, how to solve problems effectively and how to challenge beliefs about worry. We will also cover understanding the process of how worries build into an ‘anxious storm’.

You will be taught practical solutions for how to break the cycle of worry, how to face anxious situations with confidence, and how to challenge unconscious beliefs that keep worry going.

Required Skills No previous skills, qualifications or background necessary, just an interest in managing worry and anxiety.
Teaching Method Practical workshop.
Outcomes Significantly reduce the levels of worry and anxiety.
Materials required A pen and paper might be useful to keep notes. Please bring a packed lunch. Tea and coffee are provided free of charge but in order to avoid waste we are asking learners to bring their own re-usable coffee cups if possible.
Homework required Keeping a diary of common worries would be useful but not essential.
Assessment At the start of the course you will be given your own individual learning plan. Your tutor will record your entry level and together you will track your progress and achievements.
Progression to We will support learners to make informed choices about their next steps by providing appropriate individual and/or group information, advice, and/or guidance tailored to need and desired outcomes.
