Course Family Learning: Screen Printing Workshop NEW

The price is for one parent/carer/grandparent and one child aged eight upwards. You will create your own number and letter stencil designs in paper for using with a screen and print onto your chosen textile (T-shirt/tote bags/tea-towel). You can work alongside your child to either produce one outcome between you or individual outcomes.

Required Skills You will need an interest in printing techniques to enjoy learning together.
Teaching Method Practical workshop, demonstration and one-to-one guidance.
Outcomes Taking part in this family activity will give you a good understanding of screen print methods
Materials required Please bring a blank cotton T-shirt, blank tote bag or blank tea-towel. Please ensure these items are cotton and not polyester as the fixing process requires hot temperatures. Everything else will be provided. Tea and coffee are provided free of charge but in order to avoid waste we are asking learners to bring their own re-usable coffee cups if possible.

Assessment At the start of the course you will be given your own individual learning plan. Your tutor will record your entry level and together you will track your progress and achievements.
