Course Sewing: Make a Summer Skirt in One Day NEW
Description

Do you love to make your own clothes but find it seems to take a long time, often does not fit well and then looks a bit “home-made”? Would you like to take a course but your time is limited? If the answer is yes then why not join this one day course and find out how you can complete a skirt in just a day.

Using an easy to sew pattern you will learn how to alter the pattern to fit your measurements and then how to cut out and quickly prepare the skirt for construction. Then using fast professional techniques you will make a skirt that fits you and that you are proud to wear.

Everything you learn on the day can be applied to all the other garments that you make.

Required Skills This course is suitable for those who are confident in using the sewing machine for straight and zig-zag sewing.
Teaching Method Your tutor will discuss and demonstrate techniques, which you will then practise. You will be given handouts to aid learning.
Outcomes You will have learned how to cut and assemble a skirt pattern and will take home a completed garment.

If you purchase items in advance and should the course not run due to circumstances beyond our control, we will not be able to take responsibility for the cost of those materials.
