Course Computing: Microsoft Powerpoint NEW

Do you want to produce professional looking PowerPoint presentations? This PowerPoint workshop will cover a range of skills including creating, saving and retrieving PowerPoint presentations, using simple and complex slides, inserting text/pictures/charts, previewing and printing your slides, inserting/deleting/moving slides, slide transitions, slide animation, changing Colour Schemes. We use Windows 10 operating system, together with Office 2016.

Required Skills Basic computer skills required.
Teaching Method Tutor led, in a relaxed atmosphere using a whiteboard. Practical hands on approach with one to one assistance when necessary.
Outcomes You will be able to use Powerpoint presentations more effectively at home and work.
Materials required Memory stick, notebook and pen. You may wish to bring a packed lunch. Tea and coffee are provided free of charge but in order to avoid waste we are asking learners to bring their own re-usable coffee cups if possible.
Homework required Learners may want to practise between lessons.
Assessment At the start of the course you will be given your own individual learning plan. Your tutor will record your entry level and together you will track your progress and achievements.
Progression to We will support learners to make informed choices about their next steps by providing appropriate individual and/or group information, advice, and/or guidance tailored to need and desired outcomes. You can attend Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel courses at this centre.
