Course Family Learning: Families in the Kitchen - Pizza Making
Description

The price is for one parent/carer/grandparent and one child aged eight upwards. Come along and spend some quality time in the kitchen with a young person who is special to you. Work together as a team producing a high quality, healthy pizza that can easily be replicated at home. Add the toppings of your choice and design the base e.g. stuffed crust, thin and crispy or deep pan to suit your taste.

Required Skills All abilities welcome.
Teaching Method Group demonstration and spot demonstrations.
Outcomes The adults and children will learn new skills and will be able to safely and confidently make healthy and tasty pizzas.
Materials required An ingredients list will be sent out before the day. You will also need to bring a tea towel, washing up liquid, dish cloths and container to transport your food home. Tea and coffee are provided free of charge but in order to avoid waste we are asking learners to bring their own re-usable coffee cups if possible.
Homework required You will need to shop for ingredients in advance. However, should the course not run due to circumstances beyond our control, we will not be able to take responsibility for the cost of those ingredients.
Assessment At the start of the course you will be given your own individual learning plan. Your tutor will record your entry level and together you will track your progress and achievements.
Progression to This year we have introduced a selection of workshops to inspire families to explore learning together. Check out Family Learning at www.aclearning.org.uk.
