Course Italian - Beginners Part 3

This is term three of a progressive (three term) course starting in September and you need to register before the start of each term. The basic skills of speaking, reading, writing and listening will be practised, but the emphasis is on speaking.

A grammatical basis is promoted through active examples and practice, enabling learners to build on their own knowledge independently.

You will also gain an insight into Italian culture and have the language required to be able to handle everyday situations.

Required Skills For students wishing to join Parts 2 or 3 some previous experience of Italian is expected.
Teaching Method A variety of exciting teaching methods, including conversations, group work and role play.
Outcomes Learners attending all three terms should be able to read/write basic Italian, take part in short conversations and to handle situations such as ordering food, shopping, booking hotel rooms, etc.
Materials required Notebook and pen
Homework required Learning vocabulary and some written work.
Assessment At the start of the course you will be given your own individual learning plan. Your tutor will record your entry level and together you will track your progress and achievements.
Progression to We will support learners to make informed choices about their next steps by providing appropriate individual and/or group information, advice, and/or guidance tailored to need and desired outcomes. The course aims to reach a level necessary to enable learners to follow an Improvers Course in the next academic year.
