Our main site is at St Ivo School. St Ivo School is an 11-18 Comprehensive School which was opened in the 1950s. The school site is made up of six main blocks (Art and Craft, Science etc.) and Adult and Community Learning uses four of those blocks for teaching purposes to take advantage of the facilities on the site.
During the day the school looks after about 1800 young people but as a designated Community School it also welcomes people of all ages onto the site both during the school day and, particularly, in the evenings. There are about 1650 adults registered in any one year to Adult and Community Learning Activities.
ACL run courses throughout the week,
but mainly on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We also run Saturday
Workshops.
